🏢Private Property Rules
A landlord may tow an unauthorized vehicle from residential rental property after giving 10 days written notice posted on the vehicle. An immobile/unattended vehicle cannot be towed without owner authorization until it has been immobile for 12 hours (exceptions: creating a hazard, preventing property access, or illegally parked). Tow companies must obtain express written authorization from law enforcement or the vehicle owner/agent.
